1:1 Services

Following assessment and treatment plan development, an instructor is assigned to work with your child. Based on the prescribed intensity of treatment, and the mutually agreed upon schedule, instructors provide service in your home and or the programmed setting. They implement protocol developed by the BCBA and work on skill acquisition with your child. Direct 1:1 protocol implementation by an instructor may include a variety of instruction delivery models, procedures, tasks, and activities such as:

  • play based

  • naturalistic teaching

  • discrete trial instruction

  • task analyses

  • setting up a schedule and or routine

  • following the natural schedule of the family and implementing behavior plans and providing instruction as needed

  • data collection, data summary, and writing session notes

Supervision and training by the BCBA is also provided on an on-going and regularly occurring basis.
